Dedication, devotion, Discipline and integrity of his grandfather Late Shri Sultan Chandji, founder, Sultan Chand & Sons, educational Publishers, inspired Mr. Pratap Vaish to dedicate himself to the cause of education and society.
Founded in 1865, with an eye on publishing scholarly books for academic excellence and since then the commitment to the quality has been kept despite of ups and downs spanning over 15 years.

So far, NBC has brought out 300 books on Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Anthrapology, Medicine, Education, Commerce, English, Literature, Biography, Psychology, Science and Environment etc. with an average of 18 to 20 books annually and its constituents and authors include Scholars, Researchers, Policy makers and Professionals.

At present NBC has a staff of 18 members who maintain a rigorous schedule and standard quality and contribute enormously to the growth of NBC from strength strength.

About the Publisher

Mr. Pratap Vaish, born in 1946 to a family which owned commercial typesetting and printing in Delhi. He did his M.Tech. from IIT, Delhi. Initially worked for a private company as a Production Manager; shifted his profession from technical to the publishing.

With enormous experience in printing and typesetting led him to establish a publishing house in 1985. Since its inception, NBC Publication have grown from strength and dedicated himself to the publishing profession and never looked backward.

Apart from publishing, he is also associated with several philanthropic and social service organisations and holds several popular academic as well as periodical publications including Social Work Today, Media and Society, School Councilors and Distance Education.

In recent past, ther has been a tremendous change in the publishing, industry in India.

NBC has dedicated to the innovative and quality of work and captured the attention of Students, scholars and professionals.
